Cadet Program

 

We have a vibrant cadet program that is designed for high school students interested in joining our squad.  We will teach you everything you need to know and even cover your tuition for EMR and EMT certification.  See the JOIN  page on how to join. 

Here is why a few of our most active high school seniors joined the program and what they are planning to do next:

John Jarvis - "I joined because my friend joined and the two of us went to EMT class together and we both came to love it.   After graduation, I plan to work full time for Long Branch EMS and will be going to Brookdale for criminal justice." 

Ben Kroll - "I joined when I turned 16 because my friend who is a cadet told me about the squad.  I am very happen I joined EMS because everyone on the squad is friendly and I have learned so many valuable lessons.  I am planning on going to West Chester University and majoring in education."

William Dejulius- "I will be going to Notre Dame next year and planning on majoring in mechanical engineering.  I joined EMS because Jarvis suggested it."

Alex Frangione- "I will be going to Bucknell and studying Biomedical Engineering on a pre-med track. I got into EMS because I was a lifeguard and wanted to further immerse myself into first response. I loved it.  I got my sister involved because she is also interested in the medical field and I knew she would like it."
